A.   Pengertian Robot Ada banyak defenisi yang dikemukakan oleh para ahli mengenai robot. Orang awam beranggapan bahwa  robot mengandung pengertian suatu alat yang menyerupai manusia, namun struktur tubuhnya tidak menyerupai manusia melainkan terbuat dari logam.( Novia, Leli, 2004). ROBOT LINE FOLLOWER

PENJELASAN MENGENAI ROBOT LINE FOLLOWER Line follower robot adalah robot yang bisa bergerak mengikuti jalur panduan garis. Garis pandu yang di gunakan dalam hal ini adalah garis putih yang di tempatkan pada permukaan berwaran gelap. Sedangkan untuk elektronik robot yaitu sebuah robot yang meliputi adanya rangkaian pengendali utama (main controller), rangkaian sensor, dan rangkaian driver. Dan sistem yang penting dalam pembuatan robot line follower yaitu bahasa pemrogram (software). Ada juga robot line follower yaitu line follower biasa tanpa menggunakan program dan line follower dengan program microkontroler. hanya saja yang menggunakan program microkontroler lebih komplek dan lebih sempurna jika di banding line follower yang tanpa menggunakan program.. Tapi robot yang kami buat ini tidak menggunakan Mikrokontroler melainkan menggunakan IC.
